From the Council of Trent to Vatican II, the existence of the Ursulines, cloistered nuns, was lived to the rhythm of prayer. From dawn with Laudes until sunset with Vespers, the nuns had their prayers sung that punctuated each of their day and time of year. Other prayers were also known such as one in the morning when coating the costume or one during the taking of the habit. It is this life that the Museum will present in the exhibition "A life to the rhythm of prayer."
