Overview

With a diversified program in visual arts, theater, a visual arts symposium and a handful of special projects, the Pauline-Julien Cultural Centre is a place of multidisciplinary dissemination located in the eastern sector of Trois-Rivieres.

Programmation

The program, running from September to June, consists, for the most part, of the following disciplines: painting, photography and stamping. A visual arts symposium and an exhibition presented in collaboration with the Biennale nationale de sculpture contemporaine or the Biennale internationale d’estampe contemporaine will be showcased over the course of the summer.

Temporary exhibitions

15th Visual Arts Symposium – Parc des Chenaux The 2012 edition will showcase artists from the vast visual arts discipline, namely painters, sculptures and photographers. The public is invited to come and meet the sixty-some artists who will be present in the enchanting Parc des Chenaux decor to present their creations.

Espaces de clarté | Marie-Eve Bérubé Blossoming from a practice oriented by a fictional mapping of imagined places, the pieces presented in the Espaces de clarté exhibition invite you to a meeting between common spaces and the infinitely vast. Pathogenic | Martin Brousseau and Henri Morrissette Satellite exhibitions will take place within the Biennale nationale de sculpture contemporaine . Martin Brousseau and Henri Morrissette will present an innovative installation which will be deployed in both the Pauline-Julien Culturel Center as well as in the Parc des Chenaux pond.
Quebec Press Photography Known to many as the father of press photos in Quebec, Antoine-Désilets now lends his name to the prize handed out by the Professional Federation of Quebec Journalists.
